CHICAGO - Henderson Alvarez did a little bit of everything Monday. I should have let him swing," Redmond joked about Alvarezs bunt in the fourth inning. "I just wanted to get that guy to second. Maybe I should have let him swing. He might have hit a two-run homer." Wood (8-11) allowed four runs and nine hits in seven innings. The All-Star fell to 1-3 with a 9.00 ERA in four career starts against the Marlins.
